This dark fantasy story is told mainly through Lael’s first-person past tense perspective, as a manuscript he wrote after the story ends. Being a writer himself, Lael adds story stories, songs, and poetry from a journal he kept on his quest. These added literary types open the reader to Lael’s inner journey of self-discovery.
Written in a fully immersive style, unique languages have been created for each character and we are introduced to slightly altered common words found in the English language. This epic fantasy story is also completed with a glossary of characters for clarity through reading this immersive fantastical tale.
