I have fought this as hard as I could. I’ve tried to be a warrior,
But it’s nights like these when I forget what I’m holding on for.

I thought I was anchored
Onto something I truly believed,
But my anchor was never down.
I became lost at sea.

If this is what you were going for,
I guess you got your wish.
Because getting anywhere in life,
Is something I’ll never accomplish.

All poems came from trying times. Some came from a dark place where it seemed like all hope was lost. Others came from a happier, more inspiring state. All were written from the heart. This book truly is “The Truth Behind My Madness.”
