A personal message from the author:

I really wrote this book a few years ago when I couldn’t make home to visit my family for thanksgiving. I wanted to make it a special day for my daughter who was 2yrs old at the time. She is now 5yrs time flies. So I created this fun turkey feather hunt for her and some friends. They had a blast. The past few years I have been reading The story to the kids at her school. Now they had so much fun we hid the feathers all around and asked them to tell us what they were thankful for. They were counting the feathers and talking about which colors they found. And the best part is they were helping each other find feathers. I just knew I need to make this story into a book for many many more children to enjoy. So my literary dream has literally come true. Thomas the Turkey is here and just in time for thanksgiving. Happy feather hunting!

The book is called Thomas the Turkey. It’s a fun interactive thanksgiving day book. Thomas the Turkey has lost all of his feathers and it’s up to you to help him find them before thanksgiving dinner. It’s cute because older siblings can participate by hiding the feathers and the parents can read the book as the younger ones search around the house to find the hidden feathers. Or they can just find the hidden feathers on each page of the book. It can be as easy or hard as you want it’s really up to each family. The book has a page of feathers at the end so the children can cut them out or you can use real feathers if you have them.
