top YA life hack books

But these days, there are plenty of life hacks to make things easier. From how you peel a mango and how you cut a watermelon to how to make Mondays enjoyable and have some energy after work, there are plenty of small details that will change your life to 180 degrees.

I know, you usually see all these things on TikTok and Instagram, but believe it or not, there are quite a few books out there that can definitely improve your life. I’ve read articles and blogs, watched videos, but trust me, nothing compares to a good book.

And in today’s age of information easily accessible to everyone, let me introduce you to some of the best life hack books!

What Are The Top Life Hack Books for Youngsters?

Young Adult Life Hacks, by E.C. Perich (2023)

This is one of my favorite life hack books out there, let me tell you why. Things have changed a lot from the past generations. Just take a look at the technology we have, the tools and devices our parents and grandparents didn’t have.

With all these, we’ve grown up by their standards. We still do things the old fashioned way, mainly because we’re used to it. But there’s always an easier way. And it’s not just about small things, but also about life.

If life feels overwhelming, you struggle to become independent, you have no idea what career to pursue, or you're not excited about meeting new people, this book is for the young adult in you. Maturity is not all about moving out and being financially alright, but also about knowing your purpose in life.

Such things do help, indeed, but it takes time and patience. Meanwhile, you'll face a plethora of challenges. It's one of these modern affections, and it's known as the existential crisis syndrome. But making good decisions has never been easier.

I won’t give you too many spoilers, but this book will help you understand mindfulness, learn how to see things positively, champion your individual profile, overcome procrastination, forget about overthinking, get better with social skills, and set achievable goals.

It’s not all about being independent and mature, though. It's also about building meaningful relationships and gaining as much as possible from your time management techniques. From money and motivation, E.C. Perich covers pretty much everything adulthood means.

Like the author likes to say, you only become an adult once. Don't be like everyone else, and don't wait until you're 45 to understand what you want in life. Do it early and build your path accordingly, you'll thank yourself later.

The Happiest Hero, by Shane Denham (2023)

Shane Denham has created a little series, and this is the second book, my favorite by far. It won't give you any specific advice and tips for particular circumstances. It won't tell you what to do, but it will change your mindset in a completely unique manner.

After all, the book has a clear purpose. You are the hero of your own story, so make the most out of it. Make sure you’ve got some good stories and wisdom tips to give out when you grow old. I know it’s early to think about it, but that’s what the book is about.

I’m not saying it's not practical, though. It can go into very small details too, but I could also describe it as a self-help book. It's the type that will make you see life in a more positive way. You'll make better decisions and face less stress and frustration as you get along.

Are you afraid of what people are going to say about you? Worried that you may end up with a lifestyle that doesn’t suit you? That’s only a misconception, an idea that roots in everyone. In fact, you can build your own version of being successful. You can find the perfect lifestyle, but it takes work.

That’s what this book teaches you. You’ll discover a bunch of tips and tricks written from the author’s personal experience. There are a bunch of insights that will help you overcome your biggest problems, preconceived issues you’ve grown with.

Whether it comes to fulfilling life or being happy, such standards are filled with misconceptions. Everyone has them, but it’s up to you to get overcome and reach your full potential. It’s an adventure, an adventure that will boost your life and give you the happiness you deserve.

Tips and Tricks to Get More Done, by Daniel G. Coleman (2023)

There are loads of life hack books and blogs out there, but many of them have a certain focus. Some of them are general, some others are based on cooking ideas. Others are about productivity, and to me, these are the best.

Why? Simple, productivity is not necessarily about work or your career. Productivity is also about gardening, cooking, cleaning your house, you name it. Productivity is about time management and how good you are with splitting your day into multiple activities.

Daniel G. Coleman’s book is aimed at those who want to improve their productivity. And to be honest, I think we all have such problems every now and then. We're always falling behind on our to-do lists. There's always something else to do. Motivation goes away slowly, not to mention our focus.

I’m good with motivation in the morning. But by afternoon, everything drags. If I have to do something that would normally take half an hour in the morning, it will probably take two hours in the afternoon. That’s what this book is about.

You’ll find tips and tricks to set priorities, manage tasks in a more effective manner and break down large projects into smaller chunks, just to give you a few examples. Achieving small goals throughout the day will keep your motivation up.

You’ll also find a few strategies to get over procrastination or deal with distractions and interruptions. No matter what your project is about, these tips are based on real-life examples and come from personal experience. It’s probably one of the best life hack books in terms of personal productivity.

How To Succeed in Life, by John Joseph Tunnell (2023)

Life is a funny thing, isn’t it? Sometimes, it feels like no matter what you do, you just can’t win. You win on one side, but you lose more on the other. You make more money than before, but you’re sacrificing your personal life, no matter how hard you try to find a balance.

And then, there’s always something else, you want to finish the car loan or maybe your mortgage. And if you give your family more time, you realize there isn’t enough to spend. Don’t get me wrong, this book is not about a balance between love and work, but about a balance in life.

From many points of view, it feels like you're a slave. Sure, you're not working on a field with bare hands, but still, you get the point. You're always chasing something, and before you realize it, your life will be over. And you still haven't finished everything on your list.

Now, imagine peace for a moment. Your finances are sound. Your family is great, and you have plenty of time. There are no worries whatsoever. What does it feel like? Exactly! We often worry about things that haven't even happened yet. We’re worried about money, but we have enough to live.

John Joseph Tunnell simplifies everything in this book. The author shows us what it takes to have a comfortable life. It could be a matter of downsizing. Or maybe you need to stop craving for things you don’t really need, just to impress others.

What I’ve learned from this book is the fact that our mindset often sabotages us. And that’s what everything in this book is about. You’ll learn to be free and worry about your loved ones and their happiness only, rather than random things that no one really cares about.

Life Hacks For Teens, by Jerrell Mccain (2023)

This is one of the best life hack books you'll ever read, and while aimed at teens, trust me, anyone can learn something from it. It's one of the most detailed life hacks books and will give you a few insights on how to change modern things to gain as much as possible from life.

It's part of a bigger collection, but this release, in particular will change your life. How? Simple! It simplifies everything. When life is simple, there's no room for things to go wrong. Buy a bicycle, and you'll rarely have to worry about it. Buy a modern car, and there will always be something going wrong.

Anyway, this book is well structured and comes with a few different sections that apply perfectly to today’s society. It’s all about becoming an adult. For example, you’ll learn a few fundamental life hacks to become more successful as you turn into an adult, just as useful if you already are one.

Snoozing a lot? No problem, grab a few tips to stop it. No matter how hard it seems, it’s totally doable. How about budgeting? There are lots of different budgeting ideas out there, but these practices will help you manage money in a more effective manner.

Time management? Consider it done. How about something more modern, like email etiquette? I know, it doesn’t make sense, but this book goes in more directions and applies to every modern thing in today’s society. It’s just so practical that anyone can benefit from it.

It jumps from one section to another, and it's straight to the point, so you'll never get bored. Moreover, there's a free bonus course given at the end of the book. In other words, this book will get you set and ready for life in no time.

Mindfulness Hacks for Women, by Sophia Sharp (2023)

This is one of those life hack books for the ladies, but gentlemen shouldn’t despair. There’s a similar book written by Harper Wells exclusively for men. They’re part of the same collection, so they’re not too difficult to find in commerce.

If you’re a woman trying to find her presence in a busy society, this book is for you. If you feel like everyone’s pulling you in a different direction and you barely have time to focus on your family and goals, this book will change your life 180 degrees.

Sophia Sharp explores all the challenges women have to go through and offers practical advice from personal experience. It’s not just a matter of a few tips and tricks, but everything is explained in the smallest details, including the consequences of every action.

From finding your inner balance and keeping calm to managing stress and looking after yourself, this book has a bit of everything. Most importantly, it will help you keep track of your thoughts and manage your emotions with no issues whatsoever.

Unlike most expectations, mindfulness is not all about doing yoga or meditation. It's also about being there at the moment. It's about being engaged and aware of what's going on. Learn to do it properly, and you'll see the world with different eyes.

Apart from all these, you’ll increase your self-awareness, boost your emotional intelligence and increase your productivity. It’s a good guide to gain more from your relationships, especially in terms of communication. Overall, your well-being will greatly improve.

Final thoughts

There are quite a few life hack books released over the past year. It almost feels like a trend. More and more people want to simplify their lives and gain more from it, and fortunately, there's always something interesting to learn.

Whether you’re after self-help or you just want more from your existence, I believe the above mentioned titles will give you excellent vibes and a top-notch attitude in life.
