This book has been deliberately written in straightforward, jargon-free language understandable by anyone with even a modest background in business. It’s designed to show you how to manage projects of all types, small or large, local or global, in-person or digital, for any kind of organization.

I want it to be your toolbox—and I’m looking at you, engineers, software developers, managers, and teachers. Your toolbox is what you go to without thinking, knowing it has the thing you need, and knowing, too, where to find it.

My hope is that it will lend structure to concepts you already know, show you how to apply those concepts properly, and serve as an ongoing reference book any time you’re managing a project.
